A Hearty Welcome

If you have been following this blog for any length of time, you will notice some changes in the website. Most notably that we have taken "Bishop Lonnie's Blog" off and are using the actual domain name, "Serendipitousme.blogspot.com." If you find that a mouth full we also now have the domain, "serendipitousme.com." The point of all of this is to take the website to the next level. We are moving away from this site being my own personal ministry, which I enjoy, to a richer site with more variety. That brings me to my most exciting news! As you have probably seen his introductory post, we are excited to introduce a dear friend who goes by the byline of Just a Carpenter.

Just a Carpenter wrote in his post that he taught children for twenty years. I worked with him for much of that twenty years, and I can tell you he has a true tender heart for the Lord. We hadn't seen each other for several years, but last month we got together on facebook and decided we had to get together for coffee and get reacquainted. We sat in the coffee shop and reminisced over old times, reliving children's Christmas plays, war stories of teaching children, and such. Then my dear friend began to share the burden the Lord had laid on his heart to share Jesus with as many people as possible. Acts 4:12 says that there is no other name under Heaven whereby men must be saved. You see we both understand that the Lord is coming back real soon, and we sense the urgency to spread the gospel to as many as we can before it's too late. We know there will come a day when we have given our last gospel message. We will have won our last soul. So, I invited my friend,  and fellow laborer, to join us here at Serendipitousme and he has graciously accepted. If you want to learn more about Jesus and be blessed you won't want to miss his posts.
